Modifying 3D Weather

Hi;

Been playing around with modifying different 3D weather types. However, I don't know if this is a bug or I don't understand the logic behind the control parameters.

I am trying to do some different cloudy skies, but can't seem to get it to populate across the sky. It results in a gap towards the horizon that has nothing but blue sky (see example). I would assume that infinite setting would mean to populate the cloud layer across the whole sky (only seems to be localized) I also would assume that the cloud layer would curve from horizon to horizon (like on the real earth), but it seems to be a flat plane. I have been basically playing with the 3D weather in the Academy folder. I even created a new one using the blueprint editor, but cannot get any to fully populate across the sky. !*hp*!

Any help would be appreciated. !*don-know!*

Regards, Gerry

The Silverlining folder is in; RailWorks\data\Silverlining. The file named; Silverlining config should get you started.

Thanks for the information. I'll take a look and see if this will help. I did look at some other routes that use the 3D weather and this particular selection (cloudy) looks the same as mine so it appears to be as designed. Not good for open spaces I guess.
