TS2015 Scenario editor questions

In the TS2015 upgrade...

1) Is there an easier way to change the time and weather other than at the beginning of starting the scenario editor. Ex; After you change around some rolling stock, can you change the weather on the same screen or do you have to back out of scenario editor and then go back in?

2) I though I read a post that you can now make changes using scenario editor without having to start at your point of origin. Ex; I'm driving along and I suddenly see a siding that I want to add some rolling stock to. But this siding is something like 50 miles from my starting point. Does the scenario editor have to start at the beginning and then I have to fly, following the track, to the point of the route where I want add the rolling stock? Is there an easier way to do this? Its a real pain, especially if you are set up for night or fog or both.

*!question!*

Slightly easier is to go to world editor, write down the co-ordinates of where you are at and then plug them in and fly there but I hope someone has an even easier way.

While in the editor, go to the 2D map. Scroll around to where you want to go. Hold down control and click near where you want to go and the map will center up. Then hold shift and click where you want to go. Move mouse to top of screen and pull down the GPS window and click the little arrow onthe lower right of it. Exit the map and you should be where you want to be and you willmostlikely have to wait for scenery to draw. If on a mountainais route you could also be under ground. Use arrow keys to fly like you normally would, to the surface.

Most excellent!
The shift click doesn't seem to do anything, but I can instead zoom in and the ctrl click puts me right where I need to be.
Big time (and frustration) saver. I appreciate it.

I may have gotten the control & shift parts backwards. WHen you do one of them the map will move and center on where you clicked. Then you do the other to change the coordinates. Then click the arrow to go there.

Control+Shift+Home will take you instantly to grade level. Whether a person is above or below ground.
