I was wondering if anybody has tried this out yet. I have and the cab looks the same as the sd80mac. I did notice that now we have the ability for dim med and bright headlights :). Has anybody tried to port a repaint from the original sd70mac to the new one.

The cab of the Academy SD70MAC is not quite like the SD80MAC's cab; DTG simply threw in a cab signal display. The ability to dim and brighten headlights is nice - glad DTG made it possible.

Thanks DTG for dim/bright light switch and working ditch lights. It seems they read Railworksamerica forum sometimes :-)

But front and back light switch coupled together - there is no possibility to turn rear headlight without front one. Shame!

The reason they coupled the front and rear headlight switches is so the lights are selected by the position of the reverser. Its actually a nice feature IMHO.
