USWagonFreightSoundPack

Unread postby krellnut » Sun Sep 07, 2014 12:31 pm

With the upcoming release of 2015, there will be new US Wagon Sound Pack released. With additional sounds, a new feature, this is the best one yet. In this release flange sounds and track joints sounds will be an optional install. My joint sounds are real, but because of where they have to be installed to work, there is no joint sounds going over crossovers. Many people don't like that. This is why it will be an optional install. The start menu sound change will also be optional. V3.1b had been deleted from the library as of now.

I bet he never thought this pack would be as popular and praised as it is when he was making it. That's the bonus when working on a labor of love. DTG should buy this and include these sounds with the next-gen Railworks they are working on. Thanks for all your time and effort! !!howdy!!

You have to wonder if anyone responsible for sound design @ DTG ever actually stood next to a US freight train, or at least watched some Youtube videos. The most memorable thing about standing right next to a freight roaring by is the sound of the cars and the cacophony they make.

Thanks again Krellnut !!*ok*!!

I second that thought. I live a stones throw from the CN mainline (Ex I.C.) going through Olympia Fields, IL., and there's all sorts of loud racket coming from the tracks.
The clunking from start-up to stop is your best sound.
Thanks
