Looks good guys, nice to see you did one of the dual control stand units. One little bug I caught in your video, on units with air operated bells, the horn does not trigger the bell. The horn only triggers the bell on locomotives with electric bells (digi-bells) You also nailed on the toilet room, the only thing missing is the light bulbs and sockets for the number board lights (two per number board)

Will the toilet flush sound be authentic? Some of us really care about the little technicalities!

Nothing quite like the sound of the sucky-sloshy sound of the blue goo being recycled through the toilet tank. Yuck!

Then again units of this era on the NW/NS never had toilets anyways. Just crapper bags.

If that is the truth #bullschiat, then "some of you" are playing the wrong train game!

Ehhhhh, yeah, but crapper bags are just so uninteresting. And i'm not sure that statement is entirely true. Most diesel locomotives have always had toilets. It just might be a matter of preference whether you used it or not. I've read that some of the old Southern folks say they were so cramped and disgusting that you would rather wait for the next siding and take your business to the woods.

EDIT: After writing this post, I did a little reading around and came up with it was after the NW / Southern merger than NS came up with the crapper bag system. And it wasn't an astronauts bag that you tape to your butt. It was a toilet seat on a stand with a baggie fitted on it, like a garbage bag in a can. Gawd I can think of about a thousand ways this can go wrong.

Jerry,
Southern had the potty bags before the merger. After the NS merger, crews begun having fun seeing how many bags they could hang from the telephone / telegraph lines. Management got the message *!!wink!!* Next came the evac's which work OK when new, but have issues, so everything now is being replaced with the pumper style recirculating toilets. As for the number board lights, I'm impressed you guys were able to add the actual light fixtures, nicely done. The amount of details you guys have been able to put into these locomotives are very impressive. I'll have to get this pack as I have operated these locomotives in the 12" to the foot scale :D

Shall I build an alterer to make sure they remember to keep the lid down?

Hehe, after 5 minutes throw the train into emergency?
