Sorry folks, the distance counter is dummy stand in. The EOT pressure, accelerometer, and speed recorder do work, courtesy of PapaXpress. The HOT is a Pulse model whose reference pics I pulled from a CSX slug.

I've said it before but I have to say it again. The quality of your work is simply amazing. Every time I see images or information about a new loco that you are producing, I get very excited. I can't say that about very many things these days. *!!wink!!*

Once more, I live on the east coast, so anything involving CSX (or NS for that matter) is a must have for me. There is nothing else in this sim that tops your work and I'm very grateful that you are still producing high quality locomotives for everyone to enjoy. Your locomotives are the only ones that I thoroughly enjoy; they just never get old!

I just wanted to let you know that your efforts are very much appreciated and I owe you a great big THANK YOU! I've enjoyed many hours running your locos and I look forward to many more to come.

I'm very excited for this release. Keep at it and thank you for your quality work and astonishing attention to detail!! !!howdy!!

Well that was very kind. A lot of hours have been put into these projects and it's good to know that folks appreciate it above and beyond the price of it.

*!!thnx!!*

And a small update on the C30-7. Finished installing the couplers today, which pretty much completes the "physical" build. I also worked in some initial cab sounds to see how that is going to work out. From here out its pretty much going to be looking at every nook and cranny and trying to fix what ain't right.

Working on Scenarios for the Miami Route. Although it's a bit flat for my tastes, it's a nice route.

These new units sure look great and I hope us folks north of the US can get our hands on too! You have started a trend which I hope continues with the realism brought to the sim, something which I personally very much appreciate. I think I mentioned it before somewhere that the rest of my other payware purchases are pretty much now trail only as nice as they look as I can't go back to cabs which offer nothing more than a throttle, brakes, a bell, horn and lights. There is something to be said with being able to start an engine from cold much like a Boeing 727-200 in the Flightsim community. The folks in the flight sim community have more than a decade and a half of experience with this concept and you have managed to pretty much give us the same startup options that are offered in that sim and I hope to see much more of as it truly makes a difference in the realism offered.

Keep up the great work!

Thank you for your kind comments! Our locomotives are what they are because we love Ferroequinology as a hobby, as opposed to it being a 9-5 job. We also have plenty of support from the Community, so it's easier to find what a particular locomotive is actually supposed to do in the real world. No simulation is totally accurate, but we enjoy trying to get as close as possible.

As far as international distribution, DTG has an open invitation to pick up the C30-7. If that does not happen then it will be available on an international level from Trains and Drivers around mid-summer.

Getting closer to the U.S. release here, so here is a list of what to expect in the package:

- C30-7, CSX YN2 in Clean, Weathered, and Rusted versions.
- Three late-1960's 2-Bay ACF covered hoppers in Chessie, Seaboard, and CSX liveries.
- End-of-Train device - can communicate with the Head End Unit to give pressure and train length.
- Quick Drive scenario for each locomotive weathering version.
- Three Career Scenarios for the DTG Miami route: 1.) Sandbaggin', 2.) Hobo's Uber, 3.) Scrap Iron Express.
- Manual.

There will be a couple of small developer extras as well that have not yet been finalized.

We are hoping to have all this tested and ready the first week of May.
