Finally after all the headache, I've got my hands on the U30C. Thanks again, Jerry for your patience.

Jerry,

This thing is beautiful. The sounds are nothing short of amazing, and it is a blast to run it. Thank you.

I sent over the GP40-2 last weekend and a boatload of promotional photos for it today. If that works out, then i'll see if they would like to also stock the 40-2 add-ons and the U30C. Be patient and lets see where this goes. Trust me, I don't like turning down a dollar any more than you like being locked out of the store. **!!bang!!**

That sounds like good news Jerry, don't forget that virtual Railroads also has a store, I'm sure Ulf could assist you if you wanted to contact him, he's another well known European Distributor. Of course, there are also a couple of veteran British Payware distributors, Just Trains and Armstrong Powerhouse, who could be approached, there are plenty of avenues to explore, give me a shout if you require any ideas, or, assistance.

D'OH! I forgot to take that out. I was playing around with the most excellent Scenario Creation tutorials and was wondering if LUA messages could be applied to rolling stock. As it turns out, they can, and I got a bit carried away. *!embar*!

Yes, please leave it. I made it into a little sign, and hung it up in my shops clean-up room.
Hopefully my employees aim will get a little better. !*roll-laugh*!

Really enjoying these! The sounds are great, and they load like the old GE's do. The one and only thing, and maybe its just me, but the cab seems really dark, as do the windows. Its like they've got 5% tint all the way around lol. I've been using the instrument lights and the cablights during the daytime just so I can see what I'm doing inside the cab. Is it supposed to be like that?

I believe the windows are tinted on VRC locomotives in order to prevent the "nuclear glow" inside the cab, which is apparently a bug within the game.

I like the cab 'tint' a lot for running in cab at night. I've always felt that night in RW has too much ambient light and is too bright.

Does anyone notice that when running at Notch 8 in the cab it gets eerily quiet?

You are going so fast in N8 that you are leaving sound behind, Rocket Man! Noted for Patch 1.

If there is one thing that absolutely aggravates the hell out of me it's the glowing cab issue. Yes, that is reason number one for the glass tint. Number two, as is noted by BF, night ain't night in Railworks. It's kind of a purple glow like you would see in the burbs' of a major city.

Now as far as the darkness of the cab, that is both purposeful and subjective. I have two differnt monitors, one it looks a little bright, the other just right. Check your settings. Now for the part done on purpose, In the GP40 I had some trouble with the cab brightness in tunnels and such, so this time I used a different shader on the cab interior than what is usually used. I was going for the dark, grimey look. Another advantage of this shader is that it also washes out the faked shadows when hit by the sun streaming through the windows, a nice effect.

Ehh. Back to the drawing board. So did the SF use Warbonnet Yellow and Warbonnet Blue in their freight scheme, or was it the regular Freight Yellow and Freight Blue?
