I thought this thread needed some life... For about almost 2 Years I have been working on this Route. It is kind of tribute to the Area I grew-up in. I used a good portion of the RWA Route as the base. The big thing is that I switched Lakeside & Riverton ends around. So now You go East from the Ashland /The Bay to the Iron Ranges, and West from Ironwood to Ashland /The Bay. This Route has the Soo Line, DSS&A & CNW Tracks. It took Me about 9 months to figure out how to remove the Tree Blocks, but still leave the tack work in and around the original Riverton area. Interestingly enough the rail miles from Lakeside to Riverton is the same as from Ironwood to Mellen Wi. Below is the Map with some of the towns, and rail lines. I currently have the Soo Ore Sorting Yard done in Ashland, but no Lake, Ore Dock, and CNW Yard done in Ashland. I do have the Joint Soo / CNW Yard done in Ironwood along with the joint MTX Sheds.

I would like to take this Time to Thank : The original Creators who worked so hard on creating the RWA. Buzz & Chacal for all their hard work keeping this Site going. Michael / Great Northerner for all his wonderful Rolling Stock. And to Mindenjohn for his historical input about Steam Hoists, and to Harry for the inspiration that he gives in all the Content he makes.
Lots of work to be done.... Last Year was a tough Year for Me with many Family & Personal Health issues, but hopefully I have turned the corner on them.
Take Care & God Bless... Stefan
