3d Weather Sun Position Settings

Hi Guys,
Has anyone modified the sun position in 3d weather blueprints? I am working on a Southern Hemisphere route so need to change the sun from South to the North at Noon.
The only place I've found that mentions sun angle is the Time Of Day files. But the 3d weather doesn't seem to look at that as the 2d weather I have has the sun in the right position but if I use a 3d weather one its back in the wrong spot.
Changing the angles in the TOD file doesn't effect the sun angle, and there appears to be nowhere in the 3d weather blueprint to enter sun angle.
I had wondered if the 3d weather looked at route lat/long coordinates but it doesnt seem to as those are correct for where the route is set.
Has anyone else got 3d weather working for a Southern Hemisphere route?
