Unread postby shadesman89 » Mon Jul 28, 2014 9:30 pm

I recently bought the Seattle subdivision, I installed all the updates, the freeware, and files, but as soon as I load a scenerio from the seattle subdivision my game crashes
Any suggestions?

Did you delete PONTRACK.BIN from the railworks folder.

Please...... The man that made the route says they are there. They were there in my installation. They are probably there in yours. I suggest you listen to the man.

I didn't have any PONTRACK.BIN files when I installed the route either and it runs fine on my system.

I got it early. I apologize if I accused you of not listening to him. He must have gotten rid of it later. My other suggestion any time you are having trouble getting a route to load is to load one that you know works for you and then quit that and try the Seattle route again. There's something quirky about the TS engine that sometimes it doesn't like some routes if you try to start then on the initial game start.

I had this problem at first. What I did, was to make my own simple scenario with the provided equipment that comes with the route. No A.I., just run from point A to B.
Its a little quirky, but most provided scenarios work. But not all. !*don-know!*
(that's why a few new scenarios would be great) Hint, Hint.

I bought the route 2 weeks ago and it still had 7 pontrack.bins in it. They are in the freeware scenery pack.

He got it working. He looked in the wrong folder. PONtrack.bin was the issue

Good then we do not need another Seattle thread since that is all that is in here.
