Im still getting a crash on my other computer with that folder. I notice not all people have this crash. but my other computer being one of the few that are Im going to have to actually find the file within the buildings 3 folder that is corrupted, because apprently my computer at home ignores it and works fine.

Ok I found it. its name is 23.tpdx file( a texture file) in the texture folder of the buildings3 folder. This explains why some people have no issues and some do. in fact it appears to be 4096x4096 in size. some computers may not uncompress this at all because of its size. My home computer was able to but my work one not so much. In fact I dont ever remember making a texture that size. Im going to have to go into photoshop and re-size it to 2048X2048. that should fix it.

I FINALLY GOT IT TO WORK! !*YAAA*! I do not know what I did but at first I had problems with it cause it seemed to struggle to load it but now it works. Route looks very nice! I hope you can add on the northern part out to Everett one day.

Ian, I think these problems are almost solved.
I would say that the users who still have problems just need to get rid of the corrupted files.

What you should do now, if I may suggest, is this :
1- publish a new package including all patches,
2- provide detailed instructions on how to completely remove and reinstall the route.

I agree with Chacal as well. The only reason I haven't bought it is because of the multitude of problems people are mentioning in this thread. I'd like to see a finished version with for the most part no issues reported before I put down money.

I am not repackaging an entire route. All the .Rwp are in 1 download and the update has the necessary .Rwp files named in such a way you can't get it wrong. I uploaded the most recent fixes it should be good to go. Instructions are included.

Well unless you want to reinstall TS.. Haha I reinstalled TS and took out the file that Ian mentioned earlier that was too big of a texture and it worked for me.

I fixed that file and uploaded the fix. you should download it so you can replace the file you removed. otherwise one of the buildings will show a missing texture flag.

I'm not telling you what to do, but I imagine that ultimately, what matters is your sales. When one sells a product, one should make it as simple for the client to use as possible. I have seen 5+ pages of people talking about problems with the route and posting screenshots of the issues (which is a turnoff). Before I put money out there, I want to know that the product I get is as professional and easy for me to use as possible. So personally, and I'm sure others feel the same way, I wouldn't buy the route if I knew there were steps you could take to make it more simple, but didn't take them (and that appears to be the case). The route looks really great, and I'd love to run Seattle, and maybe this is acceptable as freeware. But if I'm paying money, I'd like to know the product is worth every penny; the installation is part of the product.

If you think this is out of line, let me know and I will not comment further (or delete the post); I wrote this to hopefully make it more marketable not only to me, but the rest of the community members who are yet to purchase this. In its current state, I will not buy this. My **!!2cents!!**

Yup its is your opinion, everyone here knows me by now and my ability to take criticism, and solve user issues quickly and efficiently. When it comes to packaging it has 0 to do with me being lazy, and more to do with the packager crashing my computer EVERY single time if the package is over a certain size. So rather than stray from the simplest form of extraction/packing I basically decided to still use .rwp's, package them into smaller pieces and simply put them all in 1 .zip file. Not to mention there is a manual(that most people fail to read) to show you step by step, and an update that is as easy as counting 1-4. I never in my wildest dreams thought there would be a 4096x4096 texture file in my folder that would cause some, not all, computers to crash. But the fact that I found it and resolved it speaks volumes to my ability to care about my customers and their purchases. That's why people continue to buy from me because they know if there is an issue it gets resolved very quickly protecting their investments.

youre not out of line. The fix is released on my blog.

Well according to what im reading since the prior post that i had posted, it sounds like to me you have it under control, i had no issues with your older version of the route, and i had no issues with the SOO LIne route, nor have i had no issues with any of your rolling stock, So with that being said, im 90% sure im gonna purchase the New Version of it, But im not sure if id be able to handle the Articulated car issues, or has that be corrected since.. never the less im sure i could figure it out if not, im sure the awesome community could help me thru that. Keep up the great work Ian.
