thats weird you shouldn't need an account I made it public. Click the download link on the one drive page. Worst case sign in with a hotmail acct or live acct.

looks like it was deleted by accident since people had access to edit the files directly. I since fixed that so that they are now view only. It will be back up shortly and you will be able to d/l without a Microsoft account.

Ok good, also in my first question do I need the old version of the seattle route installed first?

you really shouldn't. but if you run into problems id make sure PONtracks.bin are all deleted first. if you crash after that then look into downloading those old files. you don't need a password for them.install them and then just reinstall the route.rwp file on top. then delete PONtracks.bin again. lol make sense?

I spent 4 hours, trying to install route ... ufff.

The problem with Utilities rwp installer. It is a crap and doesnt' work correctly (I thought I have all assets but they wasnt' there, I checked everything manually and with RWTools)

I manually unpacked all RWPs with 7zip directly to Assets floder, overwriting existing files.

and finally , I got route to load.
There is still some missing assets (4 or 5 according to RWTools), but they are not critical.
First load of the route in scenario editor was painfullty slow (maybe it is becouse of thousands of unpacked assets?)
If I compress them as .ap archives, does it speed up loading?

I didn't have time to run it properly, only checked quickly Seattle downtown area near King Street station. Looks like real thing.
Also, to my surprise, there is included portion of line north of downtown, up to Interbay (Balmer yard)

Ian,

The README_SCENARIO_rolling stock.csv file is helpful for identifying which cars I don't have, but doesn't tell me anything about where to get the missing cars/repaints.

I love the work you've done on this route, but seriously, none of the scenarios will run for me until I've gone through them with RW_Tools, or I do the work to create my own scenarios.

Not to critical but it would be lot easier to get going without having to chase allover for rolling stock that's not included with the route. Just put generic stuff in at least a bunch of scenarios.

I'm still can't load Dash8

I can set it up it in the editor, but not as player loco (when it loads, I see black screen and nothing happens, then RW crashes)

this is an issue on your end, youre the only one ive heard about this so far. do oyu have rw_tools you might be missing a child object reference. rw_tools can tell you if youre missing something. and you did download the fix? Most of my scenarios have default/sherman hill and my assets in them with a few repaints. I wanted to make them diverse a little bit. I am uploading more scenarios for those who bought the old version to offset the price battle, I will email them out directly to those people and enclose a link to them for people when they purchase it. I understan some people's gripe about the discount. But honestly I tried to do it right just miscalulated. I care about what people think and am trying to make it right.

Hey guys, I got an email from Ian stating that most of the repaints were from the digirails forum (which most really were), I think I may have found a repaint or two here at RWA file library and I think the double stack containers were from train-sim.com. Anyone that needs help just ask me. Not trying to steal the thunder from Ian or anyone else, just trying to help everyone else.

Created test scenario and found some more bugs

derailment site
(main track Tacoma North to Puyallup direction)

http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/558 ... CDEE87BAE/

another derailment. at allowed speed below 40 mph (45mph restriction zone)

http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/558 ... 98BE71E8E/

too low bridge clearance. won't allow double stacks to pass under:

http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/558 ... 1A09DE3F0/

bridge pillar hits the train

http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/558 ... FD8CB4E35/

I can't get past second derailment site.... I passed first at low speed (below 20 mph)

-also there are funny suicidal buses in Seattle, which stop exactly on the rails (but it could be not route issue. road traffic moving through the trains on crossings is global RW problem, in almost any route)

-ship at Seattle waterfront disappears at certain view angle (it is near Alaskan way and northern tunnel entrance)

With respect to the author - did someone test it at all? These things are hard to ignore
