Still the same and nothing work. But I noticed that there are missing files for the pack of CN_C40-8. And look below:

Assets\Kuju\RailSimulatorUS\Audio\RailVehicles\Diesel\SD40\Cab\SD40 Cab Occulsion.bin
Assets\Kuju\RailSimulatorUS\Audio\RailVehicles\Diesel\SD40\Cab\SD40 Cab Sound.bin
Assets\Kuju\RailSimulatorUSRailVehicles\Couplings\Buckeye\Type-E\Textures\buckeye_type-e.TgPgDx
Assets\Kuju\RailSimulatorUSRailVehicles\Couplings\Type-E\buckeye_type_e_coupled.GeoPcDx
Assets\Kuju\RailSimulatorUSRailVehicles\Couplings\Type-E\buckeye_type_e_uncoupled.GeoPcDx
Assets\Kuju\RailSimulatorUSRailVehicles\Couplings\Type-E\buckeye_type_e_coupling.bin
Assets\Kuju\RailSimulatorUSRailVehicles\Couplings\Type-E\buckeye_type_e_coupling.XML

Ian said nothing about this to make sure the locomotives work properly with these files. So what should I do with the missing files.

Buzz -- I finally got into Assets Folder and check the pack of CN_C-40-8 to check in Eyein12 with Seattle-Portland. And the checkmarks are already there.

I believe that the problem lies with Eyein12 not mine.

Thank you,

john

If you look closely at the lines you posted these files are part of the main railworks install. Actually they are part of the US Loco and Asset pack but if you have Sherman Hill add-on then you already have the pack. Another thing I noticed is the lack of a "\" between RailSimulatorUS and RailVehicles. It should read
Assets\Kuju\RailSimulatorUS\RailVehicles\ If this is the way the report reads then you need to edit the Engines bin file to correct the folder path for each of those lines missing the "\"

First of all I typed the line by mistake and should be " \ ' between RailSimulatorUS and RailVehicles. So I decided to check the folder of RailSimulatorUS and and inside all the subfolders like RaiVehicles and so on are missing. So I installed again with AP File and now all files are there. Then next with RW_Tools to check the locomotive of CN_C40-8 pack and with RailSimulatorUS -- all files are shown in red. What is that mean with showing red? Missing files?? Here is the screenshot that I just made. Look below

One thing you need to understand is this is not his problem, it's something on your end. I have this locomotive and it works just fine here.

Buzz -- thank you for letting me know so that is my problem not his but how could I figure out with the problem with the scenario which end the simulator right after start. So tell me what do I look for the problem that caused this? Should I remove all the files with CN_40-8 pack also the scenarios again and install again to see if that work or still the same. I would appreciate with your help what to do with this?

Buzz,
cnbalasub wrote:Thought maybe the picture will help you to see what I am talking about? Right after the simulator have started then crash after pick the scenario and route. Here is below:

Because the consist tilt issue appears to be related to the misplaced locomotives can the OP go into the editor for the scenario in question and simply re position them correctly? I am in agreement it is not the loco that it the issue.

All is good now and no more discussion with this issue of CN_40-8. And I can run the scenarios with CN_40-8 locomotive.

Thank you,

John

I did not install the other files -- DASH8_V2-1f plus textures file (update) and DASH8-pack V3 final. I decided to read over again with readme.txt from the zip file and realized that there is a password to install but did not mention about these locomotives. So I go ahead to download those two files from Eyein12 site and see what happen with this. It's working to unmask the password then use the Utilities to install the RWP files and the rest of CN_40-8 pack include the scenarios. I did removed them and clear cache before doing this. Now it's all good to run. If you need to know more and please feel free to ask here.
