Changing the sounds on DTG's SD9043MAC to a SS EP

Unread postby DieselMatt75 » Tue Sep 14, 2021 8:09 pm

Will it be possible to change the sounds on DTG's SD9043MAC to Searchlight Simulation's EMD 16N-710G3B Enhancement Pack? I know that the prime movers aren't exactly the same, but they sound pretty close. Anything would be better than the RSC SD70ACE sounds. I have never really changed sounds in a locomotive to sounds that require scripts, so I had a lot of trouble on this one. !*don-know!*
Thank You.

Generally speaking the sounds are always a child object so what you need to do is go into the engine bin and tell it to go to the engine bin path of the one you wish to change to from the original.

Okay. I'll try that. Thanks.
