How to change engine RPM levels?

I just aliased the TS2016 Sherman Hill SD70M sounds to the SD60M and I noticed that is has a very quiet idle. I figure that changing the idle RPM will fix that issue, but I'm not sure how to do that.

1) convert the engine blueprint .bin file to XML using the serz.exe under the main railworks directory
2) search for the control name "RPM"
3) change default value to whatever you want
4) when done, save changes and re-convert your XML back to binary

I'm assuming that RWTools will work in place of Serz?

I just tried making a HEP running P42 and when I started the scenario, the engine immediately shuts off and won't restart. What did I do wrong?

*EDIT* For whatever reason, the process of changing the RPM also causes the fuel tank to instantly empty when the scenario starts. **!!bang!!**
