Although I haven't noticed this issue before but the low idle sound in TheAudioShack's F40PH-3 soundpack does not fade out as the user moves further from the locomotive, but rather that the sound cuts off at a certain distance and remains at the same volume within a certain radius. Since I'm not at my computer atm I cannot fully determine whether the bug is within the proxyxml file or that the .wav sound is stereo. Therefore I will hold off on buying the remaining F40PH soundpacks until this sound bug is resolved.

I having the same issue but I think I found a way to fix this if you have the application Audacity then drag the .wav file into it. clock on the triangle facing downward and click slit sterotrack and get rid of the on the bottom click on the arrow again and make it to mono this will make it have adoppler effect !!*ok*!! !*salute*!
