Does anyone know how to make the compressor come on more often on a locomotive? Example: The P42 compressor that came with the Miami route tends to come on every 30-45 minutes, ONE TIME, extremely un-realistic... However, I am wondering how I get it to come on more often? Where do I need to edit?

The simulation.bin file.

It has a section <AirSystem> in which you'll find start and stop pressures, main reservoir capacity and compressor rating.

I suggest leaving the pressure values alone, and experiment with the main reservoir volume and compressor rating. Increasing the volume and lowering the rating - should- give you a longer compressor run.
AFAIK, there are no leaks simulated, meaning when you don't apply and release any brakes, there is no air used.

So the frequency of the compressor cannot be controlled directly I think.
The compressor audio loop can probably be scripted to run every 10 minutes or so if you are so inclined.
