Alright, I tried this as well as no luck. Any idea what would work? I have a great horn I would like to use but cannot figure out how to get it in-game.

EDIT: I have actually found the way to add your custom engine horns. Just follow the same way, still works. I got it working on mine. You can also use the dav decoder so it is easier on you.

Can anyone figure out how to create horn loops that don't pop or crackle each time the loop repeats itself? I have ensured the start and end of the loop are at 0dB and this works with most other sounds in the sim but for some reason each and every horn I have made/modified including most of those in the RWA library exhibit the problem. The only thing that could possibly work is if I can find an audio sample of a horn blowing for a long period of time, say 30 secs, so in normal use the loop wouldn't have time to repeat but I can't find anything half decent on Youtube.

You can cut and edit sound files with sound editing programs like Audacity.

I've got Cool Edit Pro which I've been using for the past 15 years. With any other sound such as engines it works fine but I can't get horns to loop without popping each time it repeats.
