I have posted a new update for RW_Tools on my site as v8.0.18 -
New option allows you to firstly grab all the ScenarioProperties.xml files in TS2018 and then extract details of all scenarios into a grid which lists, Route ID, Route Name, Scenario ID, Scenario Name, Scenario Type, Driven Loco, Loco Class, Weather and Start time.
Secondly, you can then list all .ap files in the Contents folder and extract the same scenario details as above from the .ap files (without unpacking the .ap files) and add them to the grid.
You can then sort the grid on any column and if you wish export it as a .csv file which you can either read back to your screen, or import into Excel or equivalent spreadsheet, thus giving you listings of EVERY scenario you have. You can sort these to list all scenarios using a particular loco etc.

Read the .pdf file included first....

Please advise any comments.

Mike

Seems like a useful function.

Thanks for keeping your support of RW_Tools up.

Most of use cannot live on TSxx without RW_Tools.

Thanks a lot but is it just me or has anybody else the same problem that sometimes while using RW Tools the windows explorer crashes?
I just get the message that windows explorer has stoped working and I have to restart it. That happens on windows 7 64bit and with older versions of RW Tools, too *!sad!*

I have never had RWTools crash windows ex and use it almost daily. Are you trying to do anything specific when this occurs?

I think not. The last time it has crashed I've simply forgotten to close it and it was running in the background while I used the railworks editor (in borderless window)

Sorry but I have no idea why this might happen. However I only use Windows 10 and can't really understand why anyone would still use Windows 7, the update was free for about 12 months when Win 10 was released.

Many of us have particularly business programs that have not been updated at this point therefore are still on win7 which is still a lovely system using less memory to do the same thing for the most part as win10.
