Scenario Packaging

Unread postby jwtheiv » Tue Apr 15, 2014 8:26 pm

I'm attempting to package a scenario I've written for the New York- New Haven Route (though it happens with multiple other routes as well). I've extracted the .ap file fully using rw-tools.

I go to Packaging -> Scenarios, then select route and scenario.

Selecting the scenario and then "Add to Package" generates the following error - Error Object doesn't support this property or method occurred in Command5_click

Then a second error window - Error Invalid procedure call or argument occured in Command5_click

Then Errror: #53 File not found
Module: frmDelRoute
Procedure: Text1_change

I just did a re-install from the site (as admin) and am really at a loss as to what to do.

Have you considered using the packager included in TS Utilities instead?

That's what I've been doing for the time being.

Sorry about this, there is a bug in Scenario Packaging. I have fixed it but due to a change I made to this screen, there may be other hidden bugs in other package options, so I will not upload it until I have tested all the options.

I hope to upload a patch to my site this coming weekend, but with the public holidays here, it will depend upon how much time I have.

Thanks for the quick turnaround. Though I'm now getting the following error when I try to package a scenario:
Error #76 Path not found
Module: frmDelRoute
Procedure: GetProvider

I have just tested this using a lot of scenarios from Horseshoe Curve and other RSC routes and it worked OK. So I am not sure where the problem lies. RW_Tools could not find the path to one of the files called in your scenario, but from here, I have no way of working out which one.

Can you try packaging the same scenario with the Railworks Utilities and see if that throws up any queries.

With the new v .62 I received a #75 path not found error during my route packaging. I had been in and out of RWTools several times doing different big reports and packages so I rebooted my pc and then it worked fine.

I tracked down an .ap file I had forgotten to unpack, which seems to have helped. It's still generating an error from something, but is now at least zipping up what appears to be everything.

Packing it with the utilities seems to have worked fine.

I was noticing some other weird issues, so I went ahead, and did a complete re-install, set all files to R/W, and emptied my temp directory. Everything now seems to be working perfectly.

Thanks for the work on this!
