Can RW Tools create custom quick drive consists?

Unread postby Brickrail782 » Fri Nov 30, 2018 4:08 pm

I like to create consists in the quick drive menu, but the editor really starts to slow down when the train reaches a certain length. I know that RW Tools can be used to edit consists, but I don't know whether it can create a consist from scratch.

Yes, very possible. Some weird old guy made a 3 part tutorial a few millennia ago. You can find them here: http://mainescenery.proboards.com/board/33/tutorials

You should be able to read them without creating an account. In 2013 I was into UK steam so that explains the samples in the tutorial, but it should still be applicable to any locos and rolling stock.

If you need any clarification, feel free to shoot me a PM.

Thanks for pointing to your tutorial Tom, it saved me having to write something to point to RW_Tools.
