Slight delay of release

Unread postby artimrj » Sun May 18, 2014 4:58 pm

We have run into a snag or two with the route and some scenarios. It will most likely not be available until Memorial Day or at least the weekend. In the meantime I thought I would just fill you in on a few things.

The route comes with the RS1 and rolling stock and about a dozen scenarios. Standard and freeroam and is also quick drive enabled. It is going to be $15.

The RS1 that comes with the route will also be available as a stand alone item. For people who do not want the route and just the engine for whatever reason, it will be $10.

Rick made a Pere Marquette Berkshire that we were going to ask $10 for also, but Rick decided since it was a "legacy" model and not up to TS2014 standards, and it kept falling off the turntable ;) that we should just give it away as a bonus freebie. Which I am doing. It is still being played with though and is not available to me yet in the final stage.

There is a paint kit made of Photoshop PSDs with lines diagrams arrows and layers to help you repaint the RS1.

And we have some nice documentation and a map. Here is a link to the docs file. You can see all the features of the route and the RS1 with these.

RW&A Lake Side route Manual and Map about 6 meg.

Thank you guys, for letting me have a pre release version.
Too much fun, even if it needs a little tweaking and it comes with more rolling stock than I thought it would. The little towns, and industries are great.
The RW&A is really fun. I just realize with a sore butt, that I've been sitting playing with the RW&A for almost 5 hrs! (with some short breaks)

The included rolling stock is perfect for any period route, like HSC. !!*ok*!!
New build. i7-7700k, MSI Z270 Gaming M5 Mobo, Hyper 212 Evo, Corsair DDR4 3200 Mhz RAM, Klipsch Pro Mediea 2.1 Speakers, Samsung 850 Evo SSD, HAF XM Case, Asus Strix GTX 1070 and Cooler Master Storm XT Keyboard.
Slick with Pretty Rainbow Colors.

Does anyone need another reason if doing a period piece?

Thanks for the update Bob. I can't begin to imagine the amount of work that has gone into this project. With all of the other priorities you guys juggle; work, family life and many other things, I say take all the time you need to get it done. A huge THANK YOU to everyone that makes this site and all of the benefits that go with it possible. !*salute*!

Very well said, and I couldn't agree more.

Thanks and "well done" to all involved. !*cheers*!
