Waterton Yard, hoping to avoid the "lake effect" this time...

Nickel Plate 757 makes an unscheduled fuel and water stop at our yard. It's a long way back t0 Indiana; best to top everything off.

Woah, flashback! My grandpa had that same coal tower model on his HO layout. I'd recognize it anywhere! Nice touch, Rick! !!*ok*!! !*salute*!

Yep. Walthers or maybe Bachmann. They both had that style of wood coaling tower available. !!*ok*!!

Walthers. Said to be based on one at Lake Villa, Illinois. I liked the look and found lots of photos of it.

Do I see something new in that picture? Is the diesel an Alco S1?
