Very reminiscent of northern Wisconsin as well as most of what I got to see of the UP back in the mid-'60s. Y'all did a really nice job on this one.

Gotta get up that way one of these days. Oops?!?! *!embar*! With apologies for that admission, allow me to offer this...

In a couple of minutes we'll board the rest of the passengers for the morning run to Riverside.

It's not easy repainting the more recently released locomotives. The models have to be "deconstructed" in order to pre-shade them, which makes the texture sheets more complicated. The repaint kit that's available for the RS-1s will help in many cases, but in other cases it's necessary to modify the original geometry. Below are a couple of examples in my favorite liveries. The prototypes are both used in present-day excursion service.

I'll make these available in a few days. They'll be free but you'll need to own the original RW&A RS-1, either from the route or the standalone one.

Thanks Rich, looks great! I had a green mountain or Rutland version on my list of to-do's so that's one fewer!

Quiet Sunday in Waterton. It's rare for all the locomotives to be in one yard, 2 are in the roundhouse 1 is in the shed and 1 is behind the HH-660.

My RWA Roster:

EMD SD9 #200 & #201
EMD F7A #7000 & #7001
EMD F7B #7002
ALCo RS-1 #100, #101, #102, #103 & #104
ALCo HH-660 #5

It's surprising that some vandal hasn't broken out the headlight on the parts machine. !*roll-laugh*!

Tjernlund Ice ran low for the fall fruit picking, so they ordered in some ice from the Chicago PFE plant.

Image

The #5 local brought in some empty reefers from the interchange, and is picking up the ice cars to send home.

Image

Ice cars pulled, and the cars to load moving to the ice dock.

Image

Icing crew gets to work, and the local heads back to the interchange at Waterton.

Nice storyline, Micheal. Now we know how those reefers made it up to Yooper country!

This route "begs for ALCO's"....so, here are a few shots that I have taken. You can spend hours just free roaming this line! I highly recommend this railroad for anyone! I wish the ore docks were load transfer points as well, I would spend hours on the mine shuttle! Hope you guys enjoy the snaps, and kudos to everyone who made this happen.

Best Regards,

Galen
