UP and C&O 2-8-8-2

Unread postby gtw5812 » Fri May 03, 2024 10:40 am

With the introduction of the L-131 2-8-8-2 available in Tennessee Pass, maybe someone could paint and weather up a few for C&O and Union Pacific? These locomotives, when brought out west during the war were actual known as the "Chesapeake" class. Also, just a thought....they would be great haulers on the RWA for long ore trains! Just thoughts...

DMIR had some 2-8-8-2's. however, none with overhanging Elesco feedwater heaters. I think it would look great with "Roman" lettering for RWA.
