How about an Older Frisco (SLSF) wood caboose to fit the new Frisco T54 from Machine Rail. The one in the file library is a bit too recent.

This thread, and MR's T-54, finally got me to break out my Crayons after a two year absence from the paintshop...

SLSF_Caboose_876_1.jpg

I've been painting off and on since this thread was posted, and I hope to paint at least two more versions in order to feature the 1910-1937 and the 1938-1947 "coon skin" logos to cover the T-54's service life (1923-1952). This one sports the 1947-1980 logo. I work at a snail's pace, but hopefully I'll have another addition for the RWA library within a couple weeks.

Buzz did a nice job with his version, so hopefully my renditions will compliment his work when featured in scenarios and yard scenes. Again, thanks to Michael Stephan for the wonderful model and to Machine Rail for their superb T-54... and to "American Steam" for requesting the paintwork (good idea).
