These would look really nice on the CVP. I guess the big question is, would someone brave enough tackle this, because modelers are far and few between here it seems.

If there is interest, I could go over and take pictures. I am about 1 1/2 hour away.

The Baldwin AS-616 is already available. A Brazilian developer called 'WorkSimulations' made them. Search 'AS616' here on RWA for more details.

Last I've seen and heard, those are no longer available.

Modelling is the fun bit. Making it work with the scripts and all that, making a good texture set, etc is what separates the men from the boys in this hobby.

I do all kinds of modelling for engineering so pulling off a locomotive model wouldn't be that far of a stretch for me aside from not knowing about game design. But programming? There's a reason why I went to school to play with gears !*roll-laugh*!

One of those used to be stored a few miles away from my house. (Oregon Northwestern #2)
I don't know the full story but if I remember correctly the company that owned the line was tearing out the spur it was stored on. It couldn't be interchanged due to the friction bearings, and the owner (NRHS) would not move it, so the railroad called in a contractor to scrap it and a passenger car attached to it.
Supposedly, it had sat there since the early '90s.
