So, I looked at the New York - New Haven SD40-2, and noticed it had flashing ditch lights, which was fairly obvious. And I was wondering, "What if we took the NS SD40-2 repaint for the kuju version, to fit on the RSC NY-NH SD40?" And so, I think we should. It would be more realistic.

Is there any way to transfer the kuju repaint to fit on the NYNH SD40? Or would we have to do it all over again?

Why though? When there's an accurate model available..

Cause ditch lights. Would there, however, be a way to not change the repaint in any way, but change the locomotive it fits on? I know, I'm picky.

These are not compatible to just transfer from one to the other as the models are different.

I don't think you are understanding what Anthony is suggesting. Him and his team at Searchlight have created beautiful NS SD40-2s. Give them a look. They are well worth the money and it is exactly what you are looking for.
