Can someone make a KCS ET44AC repaint for the EYEIN12 model?

As long as his model doesn't mirror the side panels or have logo issues, it shouldn't be too hard. Hopefully it has a clear alpha channel to use as a template.

I tried my hand at a UP ET44AC one time, and the textures do not appear to be mirrored.

I found the same thing when I looked at it. However, since the alpha channel is solid black I cannot use it as a template. Since my repainting skills are not good enough to remove the logos from the main texture. I am not sure I can do this repaint. My schedule is too complex to try and figure out how to create the template for repainting.

What you do is if you have DXTBmp is open the dds file then click on the Alpha tab and then the Create Alpha Template. Send that to your editor and away you go.

I am aware of how to do that. That is how I have made all my repaints in the past. The way that eyein12 made this particular engine, he has a solid black alpha channel instead of the normal recreation of the model. I would have to adjust the colors and make it black and white, and then spend hours trying to copy and paste all the cabinet details from other sections to cover the logos. Even then, I would have to hope that I can find matching ones in the other sections. This is certainly not the normal mod to TS2019. Maybe if someone could create a template, it might make it easier for some of us to create repaints.

With all due respect I have no idea what you are talking about, If you look at this picture I just did this from Ian's SD80-90. If you look at the top that's the main color and that's the alpha template I created with DXTBmp.

Why not just ask Ian directly whether he could send over the actual templates for it?

Here is the alpha channel, per your instructions of the CN ET44AC. As you can see, the CN logo and stripes run down the side panels. I am not saying that it cannot be created, just that it requires more skill and time than I have. It would take me hours just to create the KCS repaint, not to mention countless hours trying to remove all the CN logos from the background. My skills are limited in that area, as I am mostly only able to deal with the extra layers to merge the paint layers. Maybe Ian would be willing to pass along a template. I will message him and see if he can publish one.

If you want to send me that I will clean it up for you if he doesn't respond or doesn't have one. I don't own that particular offering so I can't do it from here.

I appreciate it. I will give Ian a couple of days to respond and see what he says. It shouldn't be too hard later, since I was attempting to create a KCS ES44AC but had issues with the side logos. This model looks like it will have no logo issues. Hopefully, I can align my repaint textures to this model quickly.
