Seeing as they don't have strobe lights on the cab, I think the Amtrak F59s would be more appropriate. Nice idea!

But what would they run with? We'd need some accurate rolling stock to go with them, such as St Louis Car coaches and a Pullman Standard Super Dome.

Strobes wouldn't really matter if you aren't really that picky about it. The rolling stock can be the default passenger cars or the Empire Builder cars.

Which I've seen, but it's hard for me at least to let the baggage/lounge/bike/vending cars slide. Every single train has them, and since it's obvious a piece would be missing, I propose that the Sound-series baggage/lounge/bike/vending cars get made along with an NCDOT F59PHI. Let's also not forget that NCDOT owns ex-GO Transit F59PHs.

I started on this project awhile back and never finished it. I have the engine painted, just missing the doors. I don't have time to mess with trying to get the engine compartment panels all properly aligned. If someone wants to take off from where I left off, I will gladly pm them my file. Here is a sample of what I have completed.

I'd say it's definitely worth doing each individual unit as they are named. Perhaps we could also get F59PHs?
