Santa Fe 2900/3700 class

Unread postby stationmaster101 » Mon Jun 08, 2015 2:40 am

Not sure if anyone has suggested this yet but I'm going to do so anyway. I would absolutely love to have the ATSF 2900 class or even the ATSF 3700 class' to run along the route I'm currently making, they could also be made to run modern excursions for ATSF 3751 and ATSF 2926.

I think this is as close as you are going to get as far as the 2900 goes with what's available now. This is the G-Trax (available from DTG). I'm someone would to this up in Santa Fe livery if you asked. Richard Cowen has a 4-8-2 that should fill the bill.

Yeah i did repaint it in the santa fe livery but sadly i don't have the correct tender to use with it (using G-Trax's Berkshire tender) Image

Do you have the RWA route? If so you can get the Berkshire there for free.

I got the Berkshire and I've repainted it as well, both run really great on the Clovis sub I'm working on since they're my main test engines :D

So is that tender different from the G-Trax one?

Both are currently using the Berkshire's tender since I didn't like how rounded the northern's tender was. Never bothered to repaint it anyway seeing as how a round tender would look out of place on an ATSF train.

there is an AT&SF 4-8-4 in that pack of MSTS conversions, but it has trouble staying on the rails.

I was working on a 3751 patch-out of the MSTS conversions, but I dropped the repaint because I had other repaints.Maybe I should get back to it.. !*don-know!*
