She gains a identity. Next to alpha out the numbers and hand number some in the right location...........and see if I can find the missing stripe above the lettering on this maze.

Thanks. I got it all to work except the number boards. The way they are mapped one side always comes up upside down and backwards and I can't use the auto-numbering since it only has one number. If I don't alpha that out then numbers are showing up in the wrong location. As usual with many of these a couple of compromises are required.

What about static numbers on the number boards?

That's the problem. There seems to be only the one spot to put them and then they appear upside down and backwards on the one side. If you figure anything out there Mr. Beta let me know please.

harryadkins wrote:The textures would be a real challenge. A friend offered to help change the couplers. SAL had two paint schemes for the Centipedes. One was the citrus scheme like the recent E8 and the other was a freight scheme like the SAL F3 that was just uploaded to the RWA file library.

Mr. Adkins,

Is your friend still working on changing the rear couplers for these so that they can be run as single unit locomotives? (The SAL had their Centipede's set up to run as single unit locomotives if they wanted to. They did not come from the factory with MU capability, but I've read that they were updated later on to do so.) For now, we can just use the front truck's in reverse for the rear. The only other thing about running them as single units is that these model's have the flexible diaphragm on the ends because they were meant to be used in the PRR 2-unit configuration. So the texture file with that diaphragm texture on it would have to be tweaked to make it invisible, otherwise you'll have this diaphragm hanging off the rear.

In the meantime, I found a site that has some history on the Centipede's that I thought everyone might find interesting.
