DTG GP40-2 re-paints

Is this the same model Jerry released on his VRC website? If so, does his reskinning kit still work?

No, this is the DTG GP40-2 pack that was just released. I do know that the VRC version comes in multiple versions including the BN with properly located autonumbering. These would have to be manually numbered.

Oddly enough; Amtrak back in the good old days had leased a few gp40-2's although intended more for yard work and MOW trains they did see some limited use alongside their car-body counterparts. These engines were given gear swaps to match the f40ph's which essentially turned them into a basic f40ph without HEP.

Numbers were 650-664

Looks good buzz! I think that the red could stand to be a darker shade though. Just a suggestion. You might also make a version with the beaver logo at the rear of the longhood.

It's solid color he told himself. This should be a simple be simple repaint he said to himself. Two weeks later still painting bits and pieces hidden in obscure locations. Hopefully done soon.
