There are in fact spine cars in the game, they just havent been released yet, there are other rolling stock too but I dont know what happened with danpmeyer.

Even if making these cars articulated is too much of a problem theres always a stand alone option. Though the prototype was complete garbage and having a few of these on my HO layout showed me the exact same headaches real railroads had with them, there is the Front Runner.

2 axle spine car. Hates everything. Look at it wrong and it derails.

Yeah doesnt sound like a good idea now that I bring it up lol.

Just to let everyone know, I am still around. And I have been active building cars in Blender. I have spines, the AutoMax cars, hot metal slabs, a corn syrup tanker and I am putting the finishing touches on a skeleton 65' log car that somebody was looking for. Oh yeah, and a bay window caboose. My biggest problem is that I don't have a lot of time for painting and am still trying to figure out all the shaders. Some of them are just not working the way I need them too. Plus, since there is really tight security where I work, I can't do any of the blueprint work on my PC there during lunch, just what I can run off a jump drive, right now Blender and Gimp. And I just started playing with LOD's, since I saw some of the stuff VRC is doing and instantly got jealous...such detail!

Anyway, just thought you'd like to know.

No promises that anything will come of this as i have very little spare time these days.
