53 Foot Articulated Spine Cars

I was wondering if someone could make the modern 53 foot articulated spine cars with trailer and container loads

Doesn't Raton Pass come with some articulated spine cars?

They look like MSTS models with pretty sad texturing overall with no albedo. If you're into that kind of thing. They're also only 45 or 48' ones.

I always thought there were 53 footers but I guess that's only well cars. Yes Raton Pass has them but it only has trailers to my knowledge. I was hoping for some containers

Better yet, if those that know how to extend the length of the trailers (because they are 45') would share the knowledge. Then we can continue to learn more about the inner workings of the Sim.

You can't. It's a compressed file that's not editable in that fashion.

In theory, you could use a matrix transformation to lengthen the trailers, which is OK for the rectangular box parts when you keep the transformation like less than 10%.
When the wheels for instance are an integral part of the trailer's body, they too will get elongated into ellipses, and will look foolish.

Sorry for the late reply, I haven't been on RWA forums in quite some time. I actually have made an updated texture/model package utilizing the RCAP 45ft and 53ft trailers on the Raton Pass spine cars (also rebranded them to TTX). I've tried to manipulate the containers onto the spines as well to form a COFC but the containers aren't placed right by default and editing the matrix makes them disappear **!!bang!!** Anyhow, if you're interested in the TOFC below is the link. The Raton Pass DLC and RCAP V2 is required, everything regarding install and use I spelled out in the DL description. Hope this helps!
