Unfortunately there is no way to count how many axles crossed over the detector.

As for the signals, I would start with the video tutorials up in the library. I made my interlocking signals work using those techniques.

I don't have that route so I can't say how it was done. If there is a new api for this then someone will need document it for us so we can update the RCAP detectors.

Just theorizing... the game/scenario seems to keep track of the numbers (ID's) of the cars in a player train... is there a way to link to that data? If so, "Count" the numbers and output a total. ????????? !**conf**! **!!2cents!!**

But how would you know if the wagon had 4 or 6 or 8 axles?

I did find this in the Wiki, so perhaps there is a way to do this.

Since most freight cars have 4 axles, I assume you wonder how it would differentiate between stock or power units? I'm not sure it matters... I could well be wrong, but the impression I got from the original question was simply to generate different messages from the detector for variety instead of one and only one message on every encounter.

the stevens pass scenarios have a script thingy in place that when driven over a point a pre recorded voiceover will read out that matches what they decided to put as your consist in the scenario.

And there is a tutorial for that on the web site.

I have been having the same issue as well, I was on the Atlanta North District route today, passed over a defect detector, expected to hear it working, and didn't hear anything go off. Anyone have any idea what's up with them? I'm also trying to get them to work on my own route as well with no luck.

Will the Southern Rails route be included with RCAP V3?
