Scenariodescriptions:

• Scenario 1: The Blizzard of '54: (Approx. time is 100 minutes) "Hard".

You will be making a passenger run from Sheffield to London Road during The Blizzard of

'54. You will be making stops at nearly all the stations between here and there. The

weather is bad and your timetable has been suspended. Just get the people home safely

before the weather strands them in the stations. It will be a slow and hard trip so be safe

and take your time. Good Luck Driver.

• Scenario 2: Passengers from Wath to Guide Bridge: (Approx. time is 60 minutes) "Easy".

You will be making a passenger run from Wath to Guide Bridge making stops at

Wombwell, Penistone, and Dinting on the way.

• Scenario 3: Ardwick Sorting: (Approx. time is 45 minutes) "Hard".

The last shift did not get around to sorting and storing the cars that are on the sidings

behind the Engine shed. You must sort them by type and take them to the proper sidings

for storage. Check your work orders for proper placement.

• Scenario 4: Mixed freight to Neepsend: (Approx. time is 70 minutes) "Medium".

Should be a pretty straight forward trip. Just take this Mixed freight shipment to Neepsend

Up Goods. It is a little foggy out but that is as bad as it should get.

Scenario 5: Cattle then Coal: (Approx. time is 100 minutes) "Hard".

You will be taking a cattle load to Mottram, then taking some coal cars from Mottram to

Wath. (You might want to be sure to have the Exit on S.P.A.D. in the game options

unchecked for this scenario)

• Scenario 6: Deepcar shunting: (Approx. time is 70 minutes) "Hard".

Your duties for the night are to store the cars that are on DC Down 1 & 2 to their proper

sidings then you will be collecting cars around the yards to build a consist on DC Down 1

& 2.

• Scenario 7: Boxcar Shunting: (Approx. time is 60 minutes) "Medium".

You are to collect all the boxcars from their sidings and build a consist from them.

• Scenario 8: Manchester to Sheffield: (Approx. time is 70 minutes) "Medium".

You will be making a passenger run to Sheffield stopping only at certain stations along the

way.

I've played #2, #4 and #8 and found them engaging and fun to work through.

My next intended is #1, perhaps later this afternoon once I install my new graphics card and RAM. No, they won't make my computer a super machine, but should at least allow me to use TSX!

So far I have thoroughly enjoyed every single TaD scenario I have played. Thank you so much!

I'll open the windows at home and let some of our cold Illisourowa air blow through the game room.

I suppose I should explain "Illisourowa"--I live on the Mississippi River pretty much at the point where the states of Illinois, Missouri and Iowa come together, in the namesake town of the Chicago, Burlington & QUINCY railroad. I work for local radio and we cover parts of the the three states. Thus, I say I am from "Illisourowa" (ILLInois - misSOURi - iOWA).

Keep up the great work on scenarios, between you and Smitty I may never have to buy any others!
