What's your puter specks again? For reference. I'm pretty sure I won't need to turn off your rivets but just curious. *!!wink!!*

Thanks Joe! By the way, the texture mapping is very complex, but I've tried to make it possible to repaint it in the future without going crazy in the process. I was thinking someone might want to do their own custom weathering, for example.

I've got two computers - a desktop and a laptop, but I do most of the development and testing on the laptop (necessarily when my son is using the desktop). The laptop is an Alienware (Dell) M17XR4:

Intel i7-3720QM CPU @ 2.60 GHz
RAM: 12.0 GB
Windows 7 64-bit Home Edition
229 GB Samsung SSD
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675M
Screen resolution: 1920x1080

The desktop is older (from 2009) and has two GTX 295 cards in SLI (not that it makes any difference), and it uses a large monitor at 1920x1200 resolution.

I do most of my testing with everything on maximum except for depth of field, which I leave off (because it blurs everything, even close up detail, if you look close enough) and I set the AA for FXAA+ 4xMSAA, and 8x AF.

I used to test at lower settings on a very old and cheap HP Pavilion laptop, but the mobo has gone and I can't afford to get it fixed. It used to run the Connie at reasonable (15-19) fps.

Simply Amazing work Mr. Rennie! !*salute*! This will be one I won't be waiting for a steam sale to buy!

By the way, have you plans to make an auxiliary tender to go with 844? Union Pacific rarely sends 844 anywhere without one as it's hard to find places to top off the water these days. I think these water tenders are mostly converted tenders off of the first series of Challengers.

Here's a pic of one of them

Thannks, I appreciate the kind words :D

I'd like to do an auxiliary tender but I won't have time to do it for the initial release. I am considering doing one as a Marketplace item, if there's enough demand for such a thing.

mdurdan wrote:Yes that's an older type tender. Check the ends on the one in the pic also the top is much different and no flag, this would have to be added as a child object if it were modified but still would not be accurate because of the railings ends and bogie clearance. I wish it was closer or I would run it with the challenger but it is too far from the prototype we need for it *!embar*!

Give it a rest Mike.

The problem with that one is if someone started with TS2013 or later (as I did) That tender does not work even if one has the American and European asset packs. I've been trying to find the issue but all I've succeeded in doing is trashing it even more.

The knuckles show up but nothing else... and couple to it causes errors IIRC...

Let me look at the bin file. It obviously works fine for me. Maybe we can fix you up.

Ah, I had this problem when I downloaded it too.

I checked it for missing files in RW_Tools, which said it was missing Wagon Sound.bin (don't see how audio would make something not show up, but I know very little about the inner workings of the file structure).

Try copying another of the wagon sounds .bins in the folder and rename it to Wagon Sound.bin. I did that and it showed up for me.
