SP yes, but the "speed lettering" for the Rio Grande was actually picked by employees in a contest in the early 1940's.

If you could have a go at the SP, that'd be great. You can see from the ones I've already packaged that it's quite simple. If you need me to make the package, you could just send me the TgPcDx files and I'll take care of the bin files.

Here's a photo of some Rio lettering. While it might be hard to tell, the font colors on the tender are the same as on the locomotive (white with a red drop shadow). I have a larger image that I can post elsewhere if needed.

This would look great! The only problem is that I'd need a full set of numbers, from 0 to 9. Do you know what font this is? I can add the drop shadow myself.

Unfortunately, I do not know what font is used.

That is an ungodly early paint scheme for the Rio Grande...... Like pre 1890's paint scheme.....

Edit:

Here we go.....

Cool. I didn't know that about the Rio.

I think the locomotive looks great! Many thanks to the developer. Let's not argue over the width of this and a rivet in the wrong place, just have fun!

I've uploaded a new scenario to the Steam Workshop, [Lima 2-8-0] Handle with care, that has some more downhill fun (a bit easier than Consolidating Power, because it's dry weather).

The Connie has transformed RailWorks4 into a brand new fresh rail simulator experience for me.

My sentiments as well. I was going weeks without looking at RW, but now getting immense enjoyment running the Connie.

Many thanks, Mike!

Thanks Jack,

I'll pass these messages on to RSC :D

It's a pity I didn't make it into the top 10 on RSC's products page ... maybe the Connie is simply in a niche of its own.

!*cheers*!
