You can also use the latest RSBinTool to convert to DDS.

That's a %@&* shame. I bought one for myself, one as a gift, and another friend&co-worker is buying the entire sim because I showed him the realism you brought forth....

It's only been out for a day or so, I'm sure sales will pick up.

It's definately on my list of wants but it's a tight time of year which I suspect is the case for alot of people. It'll pick up for sure.

Wow! Well that's encouraging. I'll mention this to RSC if the conversation turns in that direction.

Thanks for buying two!

!*cheers*!

We'll see, but most of the non-sale sales happen in the first few days. RSC are expecting more sales of the loco when it's in the sales with a big discount.

What disappoints me a bit is that the advertising in RSC´s facebookpage banner only lasted from Thursday morning to Saturday afternoon, after which it was replaced by a sale advert and then Faversham to London again, so I'm trying to keep up the interest through other means, like posting on multiple forums (except UKTS - I deleted my account there years ago) and answering questions on YouTube, but I don't have the same reach.

The problem is that the package is what it is - an old time steam loco that few people of the younger generation will have seen in real life (that in itself is a great pity), with no additional rolling stock (I didn't have time ... it would have delayed release by many more months), built for a route that currently doesn't exist in RW. Even so, the price is reasonable (IMHO, considering the amount of man hours that went into it), and it is more advanced than anything else in terms of scripting and effects (what other steam loco has water dribbling out of the injector overflow pipe when the injectors are working?). I hope those points get the attention they deserve.

Anyway, tomorrow I'll get back to working on the Northern.

Yep, that's for sure the case. I myself haven't bought anything for quite a while, and I try to be patient and wait for things to come up in the sales (same with everything, not just Railworks DLC).

Thanks! For me it comes naturally ... I cannot understand people who don't support their customers as much as they possibly can, it just makes no sense to me.

!!*ok*!!

There's more .. the bell chord also moves with the bell, and there's a control in the cab (a little red valve handle near the engineman's left knee) to turn on the air-driven actuator to ring the bell (this is separate from, and more realistic than, the usual B/Shift-B command).

Sadly, I suspect that you've hit the nail right on the head there. If you'd have built the FEF or the ATSF Northern first, I suspect you would have sold a whole lot more copies.
