The cab on the U36B looks very similar to the U36C and would guess that it was also modelled by Reppo. Since the windows on the U36B open, I would guess that they will also open on the U36C.

To put this issue to rest, one can see that the engineer's cab window is open in this screenshot from the announcement article.

Is the fresh air complete with diesel fumes included?

While i wholly adore Seaboard and like the u36b in game, it looks like a 'toy' or 'small' compared to this one.

This CRR one appears *different* , bit more detailed, grimey, worn, rode hard and put away wet - amazing

Hope the interior/sound/phys are as decent

I took a stab at it, its decent. Horn blows ( !*roll-laugh*! pun intended) in a nutshell a far cry better than 50% of the stock that comes w the route. Noticed the a.i. in the scenario I looked at had no lights on, aside number boards. It "feels" good - doesn't jump like a horse slapped on the rear with one notch. Can def hear that DTM squeal on the cars/caboose while the engine is minimal and more realistic. Just my 2c !!howdy!!

The sounds are recycled from the U36B, which were recycled from the kuju ES44. The cab is the same as the FR U36B. The model has a weird shine to it. The stock is the usual DTM stuff. Maybe wait for a sale. It doesn't seem to be anything too impressive, at least on my end. But if you want something better to run on Clinch, its a little better than the stock stuff for the route.

I think it 'feels' genuine physics wise, surefire over the other CRR engines in TS. Sure the sounds are meh and reused but more inclined folks will mod and itll be cherry, i hope. Plus id love to maybe see the 2 csx skinned 36's in the possible future *!!wink!!* *!!wink!!* *!!wink!!*

I’m sorry but just stating something is junk is not “criticism”. A proper criticism is useful to other people and could be read almost as a review advising whatever it is that is wrong with the item and just then substituting “everything is wrong” for the word junk doesn’t count either. Everything cannot be wrong with this loco because some people have expressed their satisfaction. It maybe that in this community there are the folks to fix those things which are not right but no one will if they don’t know what is wrong.
Personally i’m grateful that there are developers of locos (which are older than the last 5 years) making an effort even if the results are not perfect, now where are the Alcos?
