It's not even there anymore, I don't know what happen to it. I left Steam alone for about 2 to 3 hours to verify some files I had screwed up and its folder is no longer in the Steam Apps folder. I'm re downloading about 60+ GB of DLC at the moment. I'm hoping this was a one time glitch.

I hope you get it fixed soon. It definitely appears that the Steam verification process is damaging TS installs in certain cases. I'm curious as to who is responsible for developing and supporting the distribution and verification software, Steam or RSC. I was always under the impression that Steam was more or less in a roll of just being a network of servers to distribute exactly what the game vendor gave them, but now I'm not so sure. Lately some of the reports sound like Steam verifications are corrupting TS installs.

I don't know it this might be the solution, but when I verified cache a couple of months ago, every thing was loaded into a different folder named Steam Launch instead of Steam.

I never have any problems either. I feel like I'm missing out on something.

KNOCK ON WOOD. It would be interesting to find what common denominator is causing these problems.
