I had this issue when 2014 first came out and I did a cache verification and that fixed it for me. Hope that helps.

You could try reinstalling the routes again. is this on your laptop or your desktop PC?

You may have to reinstall TS2014. Don't move that TS2013 folder, tho. If Steam "sees" it, then it will update it to TS2014. Your third party files are all still there in TS2013, so if you "delete local content" for TS2014, then remove the Railworks folder from the Steam> steamapps> common folder, and reinstall TS2014, then you can "copy" files from TS2013 that you need and/ or want.

A lot of work I know, but if verifying files, clearing blueprint cache and reinstalling the third party stuff doesn't work, I'm not sure what to suggest. Many folks seem to be having issues with TS2014 right now. All my third party stuff runs fine with the exception of your Beta route, which we know is an asset issue on my end. The folks with issues seem to think it's all RSC or Steam's fault, but a lot is really just weird that I'm reading, like TS working fine one day then not at all the next day. Or missing third party "stuff" like with Marc (Hack) from 3D Trains.

I'm not sure if RW Tools can look at a third party route and see what's missing? Not sure what else to suggest. Sorry.

I just did a Route check on my Surfliner Route I made said this in RWTools.C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Assets\RSC\DonnerPass\TemplateRoutes\DonnerPass.bin.Could Not Be Found,So do I copy the Donner Pass TemplateRoutes from the Railworks 2013 Folder? Then copy & past it into the TS2014 Donner Pass Route folder? Cause the Donner Pass Route works loads fine.Cause I opened RWTools check Routes & Scanarios the clicked Check Selected Route got the error. From RWTools.

OK, don't quote me on this, Ericmopar and others have done more research, but it seems like your older route is looking for Donner Pass but in the old game format, it's now in a .ap file. And I really don't know how you can get around it. You could try and copy the .bin from your TS2013 into your route I guess, but that's just a guess. Sorry, bro. !**conf**!

If that's what it's doing all you need to do is unpack the .ap file and then it'll see it.

Unzip the ap file with 7zip. All the stuff will be there like normal.

I just stumbled across this thread...

I think the OP needs to open DonnerPassAssets.ap with 7-Zip.
Then copy "TemplateRoutes"
Then go back to Railworks/Assets/RSC/DonnerPass
Copy that "TemplateRoutes" folder into the "DonnerPass" folder as an external folder, so your route can see it without the .ap compression getting in the way.
(I just learned something new about 7-Zip. If a person highlights the folder "TemplateRoutes" and selects the green "copy" arrow, it will automatically put the copy in the Donner Pass external file!)

As a side note: The fix for Castlerock was to go to Assets/Castlerock
Once you have the Castlerock folder open, click "New Folder" and name it "Scenery" without quotes. That gives Castlerock a place to create its Blueprint.pak file. No copy and paste required. No opening the CastlerockAssets.ap file required.

Eric, so the "TemplateRoutes" folder for Donner, would look like the "Scenery" folder does in Castle Rock? (BTW, my Castle folder has a separate Scenery folder already)

Not exactly. In the case of Donner Pass, the TemplateRoutes folder would have something in it. Also, the blueprint.pak file is there already with Donner Pass.
I think one of the OP's routes can't see that folder when it's in the .ap file.
Errrr... if you were asking if it would be an "external folder" then the answer was yes. IE in the old location in the Donner Pass folder rather than in the .ap file.
Actually, it would end up in both locations.

As far as CastleRock, my Castlerock had no separate scenery folder. Once I added it, it runs fine. It is just a place for the program to add Castlerock's Blueprint.pak.

Did you do a clean install Chris, or did you let it update? I had problems with missing folders after doing a clean install. When I had just let it update (the first time around) there were no missing file problems for me. Verifying afterwords didn't help.
