The new Serz.exe

I have not seen it mentioned on here, but there is a new version of Serz.exe in TS2014 - new features are:-

1. This version requires 2 extra .dlls to run it, so if you use it in RW_Tools, you also need the files stlport_vc10.5.2.dll and zlibwapi.dll from the RailWorks folder to be in the same folder as serz.exe

2. The new version handles textures up to 4096*4096 pixels

3. It also handles the .geopcdx files for all of the locomotives I have tried so far - the earlier versions would open, but not recompress large .geopcdx files such as those for locos and large models such as some stations.

That's good to know.
I had mentioned the new applications in another thread, hoping the code gurus would know what they do.
I had originally mentioned it for two reasons. We were all looking real hard at those new .ap files and not much else and my reasoning was that maybe one of those new apps could be worked into RW_Tools for the .ap stuff.
The other reason was the new Serz.exe version. I didn't know what it was for exactly, only that it seemed to be mentioned by the people doing reskins.
I was hoping it could be used to reskin some of the newer locos that have been befuddling the painters among us.

There is one that is a string extractor. I was wondering what that is for? !*don-know!*
New build. i7-7700k, MSI Z270 Gaming M5 Mobo, Hyper 212 Evo, Corsair DDR4 3200 Mhz RAM, Klipsch Pro Mediea 2.1 Speakers, Samsung 850 Evo SSD, HAF XM Case, Asus Strix GTX 1070 and Cooler Master Storm XT Keyboard.
Slick with Pretty Rainbow Colors.
