Workshop filter / Route titles

Unread postby fecrails » Tue Oct 01, 2013 6:12 am

The filter list for the Workshop scenarios was getting way too disorganized and long before the inclusion of routes. The whole point in a filter is to expedite a search and when you spend several minutes wading through the filter list to narrow the search field, you have to question if it's any longer an effective filter. Now add routes to the mix, with their cryptic hexadecimal titles that bear no clue as to the routes location or content and searching the Workshop has become a mess. What's the filter list going to look like in another year?

I love the Workshop feature of TS and would really like to see more thought put in to its organization. **!!2cents!!**

Just sorting it alphabetically would be a huge improvement.

I don't know why they don't do it. It's computerized. All they need to do is make a program or whatever and let it run. When a new entry is added the program would just enter it in alphabetical or alpha-numeric order. And you're right about that new stuff. There is no clue as to what it all means.
It's not like they don't have the talent over there to do it. I'm sure that they do. I really don't think they care.

On the other hand, making software is really very complicated, and programming is a very little part of it.
