scenery draw limit

so after trying out ts2014 i fine it kinda cool. i love the google earth thing in editor and like the distince mountains and stuff. but i was wondering what about the scenery draw limit. i saw befor and after pics on blog where scenery limit was improved so much. but when i play it it still the same as ts2013. this is shot of donner pass in ts2014

Do you normally run the route at that height? *!question!*

Some scenery elements may have their max draw distance set at 2000m. You'll need to extend this distance in the editors if you want the larger objects to show up (double-click an object, place a check in the unnamed box in the right flyout menu).

Be aware, however, that setting extended draw distances on objects will have an effect on performance.
