Best DLC engine for ts 2014

Hey everybody.
I have a simple question. Which is the best, most authentic driving, American diesel freight loco. I currently have the cp es44ac and I love the updated brake realism, and I have the up Es44ac, the up sd-40, sd-70, gp-38 and the bnsf es44dc which I like because the dynamic brake feels better.
But I don't know if any of the American loco have them or if I missed them but do any have an alerter? And overall if I was going to buy a DLC locomotive, which one is the nicest modelled, sounding and has the best simulation, and the most little goodies built in (realistic brakes, dynamic braking, alerter, lights, Ect.)
Thanks

First off,
My favorite diesel has to be that neat little GP20. Modelling, sounds, operating (including the startup sequence that some really don't like), several repaints including a free one here in the file library. But the new RS1 is a very close second place!
Otherwise it would be the SD70ACe and/ or ES44AC, and the best value with those are the NS Heritage packs for each model. I have to qualify all of that by saying there is no single US diesel that I really dislike. Some pick at the horn sound, bell, physics; my hearing's not all that great and physics is more likely than not my driving skillzz.
As far as I have found, only the passenger diesels have an alerter in US models, and even then only a few models; whereas British/ Euro "stuff" almost always have an alerter system of some sort.
If I want real perfection it's got to be American steam, with Mike Rennie's Consolidation (and upcoming FEF3) being about the best out there for TS2014.

I'm with you in that my favorite TS2014 locos are ones that drive and perform realistically, in addition to looking the part.
Favorite loco: Eyein12's GP60 (pack 2)

Reppo GP20
DTM SD45

I second that. Ian's GP60 is one of my favorites.

The new BN SD60 also is a fine loco.

Oh my god, just looked up the gp-20 on YouTube, where do I get that. That looks so awesome, I wish it was like that for all the locomotives, I'm big into flight sims and I just love when they make it so you can go though all the steps. Sorta like how I wish they made the screens functional in the es44ac/dc

The screens on the Canadian Pacific ES44 are functional. At least the brake pressure, and loco speed

The Southern Pacific GP20 by Reppo is in the Steam Store ($19.95), two repaints in the Steam Marketplace (BN & UP $4.99 ea.) free Pacific Harbor Lines repaint in our library (by XD/ Buzz)

Thanks for letting me know on the gp-20
And as for the screens I meant fully functional, where you can cycle though the different screen options and get things like engine stats, train stats, Ect. And when you have people modifying good old fsx to have realistic ecam screens and fmc's I don't think it's impossible. Complicated yes, but not impossible

Not only do the Passenger Diesels we have over here (U.S) but the Freight units (ex: SD40-2, Gp38-2) have them. Is a federal law to have "alerter's" in the cab.
~E: As for my favorite the F59PHI is the winner. Just need a litter better sounds and then it will be good IMHO.

I'm sure he means none of the US freight units in the game have a functioning alerter

Since the topic is about TS, that's correct. Thanks, Boosted.

My favorite
#1 Steam engines
#2 emd diesels (SD40, SD80, 75, 70)
Chessie system, UP, BN green and white, Santa Fe Warbonnets.
NS Heritage: NKP, norfolk and western, Savannah and Atlanta, Virginian, PRR and Illinoise Terminal.
UP Heritage: Southern Pacific, and Rio Grande.
I know NS heritage has some ES44 but I still like the colors.

My favorite diesel engine is the EMD F7 diesel locomotive so I of course would say that's the best one to get.
