Hmmm. Looks like their patches are going to involve uploading most or all of entire routes. Which is worse for us and our mods.
New build. i7-7700k, MSI Z270 Gaming M5 Mobo, Hyper 212 Evo, Corsair DDR4 3200 Mhz RAM, Klipsch Pro Mediea 2.1 Speakers, Samsung 850 Evo SSD, HAF XM Case, Asus Strix GTX 1070 and Cooler Master Storm XT Keyboard.
Slick with Pretty Rainbow Colors.

It won't if you have automated your mods.

Only those that modified existing default files, which are reset during an update.
When you have a script, it is simpler to reapply all mods, it takes 30 seconds and a double-click.

If I read that right, it sounds like a person has to create the entire file and folder tree starting at Assets and working towards the modded file?

That's what we're trying to find out...

I got the update too, it must be for a DLC item.

Yes. Basically, when you first install a mod, install it in this folder tree instead of the real one. Then run the batch file.

I go a step further so I have more control: I create a folder tree for each mod. But that's me.

Buzz

It appears that Smokebox's Connie got packed up in a .AP file as well with this latest Steam Update. Either that or I could have missed it before back in December 10th, 2013 - \Assets\Smokebox\Consolidation\ConsolidationAssets.ap compressed file.

And I concur that the "Munich to Augsburg" route got packed into \Content\Routes\00000035-0000-0000-0000-000000002012\MainContent.ap compressed file with this latest Steam Update as well.
