Loco Number problems on Obo's downloads (SD40-2)

Hey, I've downloaded I think 5 or 6 SD40-2 repaints from http://railworks.banal.net/catalog/catalog.html and I like them a lot. However, on all the packs, the locomotives have a large white 3210 under the cab window on the locomotive. It's a big problem because the CNW, MILW, and Soo repaints, as well as the lease company names get covered by these and it looks tacky and ridiculous. Any idea on how to fix this? I've installed them properly because I can drive them, they just have number issues. Thanks.

I took all these in the editor, but I see the same thing when I drive them in the world. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks very much.

Thanks. I have a problem because there are files that I can't find to work with this so I don't really know what to do now..

1) c/p from Kuju\RailSimulatorUS\RailVehicles\Diesel\SD40-2\Def2\Engine\sd40_2_Def2_numbers.dcsv to your engine folder.
2) c/p from Kuju\RailSimulatorUS\RailVehicles\Diesel\SD40-2\Def2\Engine\Textures\SD40-2_Def2_Digits.bin to your engine\texture folder.
3) c/p from Kuju\RailSimulatorUS\RailVehicles\Diesel\SD40-2\Default\Engine\Textures\SD40-2_Digits.bin to your engine\texture folder.

My issues: 1: I don't see a numbers.dcsv in my Def2 file, and 2: The Def2 folder only has a folder called LocoInformation. My Default has no Texture folder either...

You have to extract them from RailsimulatorUSAssets.ap

What do I use to open it?

Preferably RW-Tools, it has special functions for that in the File menu.

Otherwise open with 7zip, extract the files, making sure the folder structure is the same as inside the archive, then you have to remove the read-only attributes for the files you want to modify.

So I extract and then just fill in the ones that I need or are missing? That's how I understand this anyways.

Ok, I opened it with 7zip and moved those files around. Going to see if it fixed the problem. Fingers crossed!

Extract the 3 files mentioned above. Then you can copy them to your own folders, as per the instructions from the other thread.

Now onto bigger problems...

(BNSF Dash 9 download from Obo's Catalog... Do you happen to know where I could find this file: CajonPass_WP_04_02.GEOPCDX? The only one I hadn't transferred because I didn't know where it was lol)

Yep. missing textures in the cab file. I take it you haven't purchased the Cajon Pass route yet? That route used to be one that came with Railworks as a default route years ago. I think it became an optional route with TS2012 or TS2013. Since GeoPcDx files cannot be freely distributed, you need to purchase that route to get that file. *!sad!*

I have Cajon Pass from TS212, so my issue is finding the file...

It is the shape file for a driver (engineer). Not related to your missing texture problem.

It shows up in several places:
Assets\G-TraX\PortlandTerminal\RailVehicles\Diesel\Driver
Assets\G-TraX\PortlandTerminal\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP40\CO_GP40\Driver
Assets\G-TraX\PortlandTerminal\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP40\CO_GP40-1\Driver

So is the GEOPCDX file not important? I haven't tried fixing anything yet.

It is not.It is just the engineer figure in the cab.
It is strange that you don't have it, I suggest you perform the verify local cache operation in the Steam client.
This may wipe out any modifications you made of default RSC files, so back them up as needed.

From the above picture, clearly you are missing all texture files for the Dash9 cab. This has nothing to do with Cajon Pass.
The same verify operation should take care of the problem.
