Just wondering, are there any freeware engine repaints for the sherman hill es44ac and sd70m? because when I install most engines, they are not re-skins of the up units and they are invisible (yes, i have checked the boxes).

Have you placed the correct .GeoPcDx in the correct folder?

Can you be a little more specific about what re-paint you are trying to load to where?

'

Whats a .geopcdx file? Because when i try to follow the readme to the .geopcdx file, and cant find it!
Here is the readme of an ES44AC.

Go to the ES44 Black folder. “Assets\Kuju\RailSimulatorUS\RailVehicles\Diesel\ES44AC\Black” and copy the ‘es44ac_black.GeoPcDx’ from the engine folder.
I cant find the Black Folder.

I was just thinking. I know why this doesn't work. The ES44 from Sherman Hill is not the same version as the original Kuju one. What re-paint are you trying to load?

The GeoPcDx for the "default" Black ES44 is probably in one of the new .ap files now.

Many of the Read Me's are no longer valid because of the new folder structure.

This is the new folder structure where some of those Kuju files for the engine reskins will be found.
Railworks\Assets\Kuju\RailsimulatorUS\RailsimulatorUSAssets.ap\RailVehicles\Diesel

Some of those files that need to be copied into the reskins, need to be copied over from the .ap folders to somewhere like the desktop first and then into the reskin's folder, and then a new "external" folder structure created for the reskins to reside in.

Not as hard as it sounds. *!greengrin!*

Again, most of the read me's are no longer valid. For those of us that have a basic understanding of the file structures, it's a no brainer, but for the noobies, it's going to be tougher when installers and read me's are no longer valid.

None that I am aware of. Most are for what used to be called the "Default" Engines that came with Railworks / Train Simulator 2012.

Those are now known as the Cajon Pass ES44s and SD40-2.

According to the Description;

[Installation]
Extract the ES44 BNSF1.rwp and install it using your package manager.
Go to the ES44 Black folder. "Assets\Kuju\RailSimulatorUS\RailVehicles\Diesel\ES44AC\Black" and copy the 'es44ac_black.GeoPcDx' from the engine folder.
Then paste that to the BNSF1 Engine folder. "Assets\Kuju\RailSimulatorUS\RailVehicles\Diesel\ES44AC\BNSF1\Engine"
Go back to the ES44 Black folder and copy the 'es44_cab.GeoPcDx' from the Cabview folder. "Assets\Kuju\RailSimulatorUS\RailVehicles\Diesel\ES44AC\Black\CabView".
Then paste that to the NS_NS Cabview folder. "Assets\Kuju\RailSimulatorUS\RailVehicles\Diesel\ES44AC\BNSF1\CabView".
That's it.

The original stuff is in a .ap file. You have to get the stuff out of there. I don't quite remember how though.

For starters these are not Sherman Hill repaints. This is the default ES and should be in the Kuju folder. Is it?
